Sonic The Poster Magazine #1 - December 1993
 | These were originally supposed to be released on a monthly basis, as a supplement to the main comic, but mysteriously disappeared, possibly due to charging more than the price of a standard comic for their content.
This first poster magazine was Fleetway fans' first introduction to SatAM. Released shortly after AoStH began broadcasting in the U.K, it gives basic plot and character outlines from both series, along with summaries of several of the early episodes of AoStH.
Confusion may have resulted over promotion of SatAM with the original prototype publicity images for Sonic's "Freedom Team" (reproduced in SHQ's Before SatAM section), including the likes of Sally Acorn, Johnny Lightfoot, Tux, Flicky and Sonic's other animal friends from the western continuities, rather than the likes of Bunnie and Antoine, whose profiles were amongst those featured.

Sonic The Poster Magazine #3 - March 1994
 | "The Kid Cruel Caper" Writer: Nigel Kitching Artist: Mike Hadley
A six page Sonic strip, in which the Sonic and the Freedom Fighters are called to deal with a robot chimp who`s enslaving a jungle village.
The bright, brash artwork works with the harsher moments of the story (watching how Robotnik's rule can affect ordinary families), but offset by the parodic villain, who hams up accordingly to his pun.

Sonic The Poster Magazine #6 - October 1994
 | "Marble Garden Menace" Writer: Lew Stringer Artist: Mike Hadley & Darren Stephens
A determinedly gushing Amy invites herself along on a six page trip to the Marble Garden Zone, where the pair find themselves working together to stop Robotnik's latest creation - the three-in-one Combinik!
As depictions of Amy go, this story of her not being able to shut up about how Sonic's eyes sparkle when he's angry one minute and suddenly turning into a crossbow-wielding tactician the next seems a strange contrast, but feels as though it has a nice moral about not judging books by their covers, and paves the way for Amy's later independence.

Sonic The Poster Magazine #8 - November 1994
 | "The Chaos Emerald Thief" Writer: Nigel Kitching Artist: Bojan Djukic
Sonic and Knuckles spend a strip bickering like an old married couple as they pursue the criminal responsible for stealing the purple Chaos Emerald from under Knuckles' nose.
This story ticks all of the requisite character trait reminders: stubbornness, strength, gullibility and an unusual level of making it obvious that the two of them don't really dislike each other all that much.

Sonic The Poster Magazine #9 - December 1994
 | "Trapped in the Vortex" Writer: Lew Stringer Artist: Nigel Dobbyn
As Sonic and Tails travel to the Labyrinth Zone to investigate reports of kidnappings by Robotnik, the end of another year has Tails wondering whether or not their actions're really making a difference to the Mobian struggle. Sonic doesn't have much time to tell him to snap out of it before they're ambushed by a squad of Motobugs, who - whilst Tails can fly to safety - cause Sonic to plunge head first into a whirlpool!
With the non-swimming Sonic fighting his own battles underwater, Tails is in a quandary about whether to help his friend or the kidnap squad he can see. As he chooses to save the Mobians first, Sonic escapes and congratulates his sidekick on knowing to make the right decision when it counted, prompting a fit of self-realisation.
Stringer always seemed to be a little more sympathetic to the fox as far as character development went.
