“Knuckles versus the Cybernik”
Writer: Lew Stringer
Artist: John Moore

Knuckles is none too pleased to find a badnik prowling around on his island, and attacks accordingly. The pair have almost wiped each other out when the stranger finally manages to introduce himself as Shortfuse the Cybernik - a force for good - and the pair call a truce in the interests of their common aim: the freedom of Mobius.

A simple battle story, but introduces possibly the continuity's two most stubborn, bloody-minded and downright amoral characters to one another, leaving plenty of room for plot development.

“Face From The Past - Part Two”
Writer: Lew Stringer
Artist: Gary Andrews

Sonic arrives just in time to save Tails from a grisly fate beneath the mallet of Metamorphia, but is unable to prevent her from making her escape. This does, however, give him ample time to gloat about how well the others were fooled. Which he`s very good at, as we know.
