As Zachary seems paralysed with fear, Knuckles leaps to his defence - but even he can't stop the machine from brushing them both aside and shattering the Master Emerald!

 | "The Return of Chaotix - Part One" Writer: Nigel Kitching Artist: Richard Elson
With a month gone by, the Miracle Planet returns and Sonic's there to meet it - as well as Porker Lewis, who's apparently none the worse for his own little adventure.
But he's not the only person dimension-hopping. The Omni-viewer deposits the Chaotix onto Mobius - unfortunately into the middle of a badnik attack, but they only just have time to each show off their individual strengths before Sonic (with Porker in tow) arruves to mop up.
They're convinced that the Brotherhood of Metallix're still up to no good - and Sonic's assurances that he dealt with that little threat once and for all look a bit weak when the Miracle Planet transmogrifies before their eyes!
"The Homecoming - Part Two" Writer: Nigel Kitching Artist: Nigel Dobbyn
Knuckles lies amongst the rubble as his attempt to prevent the robot from draining the power of the Chaos Emeralds fails - and Zacjary reveals his true colours and true plan: to use the chaos-powered robot to seek and destroy all echidnas - and obliterate Mobius as a warm-up!
"Cybernik Strikes Back - Part Five" Writer: Lew Stringer Artist: Carl Flint & John M. Burns
Shortfuse battles his way into Robotnik`s inner sanctum, but Metamorphia threatens that it`ll be the worst for Tekno if the cybernik refuses to surrender. Realising that Metamorphia is without her powers, Tekno deals with the threat herself, leaving them both alone with Robotnik. Shortfuse takes aim with a laser, but cannot bring himself to kill, whereupon the duo escape back to Tekno`s base. As Metamorphia berrates Robotnik that her shape-changing ability could have made a difference, Shortfuse and Tekno go their separate ways.
So that was Tekno`s debut, was it? We have an interesting character afoot here - part screaming professional hostage (viva clich!) and part actually useful. Somehow, you can`t help knowing that she`s going to be back...
